  1. v0.3.2 (macOS)

    Latest
    Sep 26, 2026
    • IMPROVEDClaude: Automatic refreshes read saved credentials without requesting Keychain UI access. If macOS requires approval for a new or changed credential, the app keeps the last reading and offers Allow access… in Settings for a deliberate one-time approval.
    • ADDEDAntigravity: Usage now comes from its local language server rather than the rotating gemini Keychain item. Antigravity must be running for a fresh reading.

  2. v0.3.0 (macOS)

    Pre-release
    Sep 8, 2026
    • IMPROVEDCopilot quotas, experimentally. A Copilot ring beside the others, read through the GitHub CLI's login (gh auth token --hostname github.com) or COPILOT_GITHUB_TOKEN. Premium requests, or AI credits on credit-billed plans, fill the ring; chat and completions show as Unlimited. Reset dates come from GitHub.
    • ADDEDOnly GitHub's own endpoint. The token is read from the CLI's stdout only and sent solely to https://api.github.com/copilot_internal/user, with redirects refused and no response body ever logged.
    • ADDEDOff until you say so. Like every provider, Copilot starts switched off. Enable it in Settings after gh auth login.

  3. v0.2.0 (macOS)

    Pre-release
    Sep 8, 2026
    • IMPROVEDGitHub Copilot (experimental). Copilot appears beside the other providers with its own switch. The token is borrowed from the GitHub CLI (gh auth token --hostname github.com) or COPILOT_GITHUB_TOKEN, read from stdout only, and sent solely to https://api.github.com/copilot_internal/user with redirects refused. The ring shows the first limited quota (premium requests, or AI credits on credit-billed plans); chat and completions show as Unlimited. Parity with the Windows v0.2.0 integration.
    • ADDEDSessions in sight. Busy and waiting indicators for supported coding sessions.
    • ADDEDFits your Mac. Top, bottom, left or right placement, hover expansion, always-visible and hidden modes, Dock and menu-bar options, launch at login.
    • ADDEDPrivate by choice. Every account starts switched off. Disabling an account cancels its work, clears its readings and stops monitoring. Usage responses and tokens are never written to logs. No telemetry, analytics or updater.

  4. v0.3.0 (Windows)

    Pre-release
    Sep 8, 2026
    • IMPROVEDRead Claude's limits array, the forward-compatible shape the macOS app already used, so newer limit kinds such as Opus and Sonnet weeks appear as Anthropic adds them.
    • ADDEDKept the named five_hour and seven_day windows merged in, since a window leaves limits the moment its reset passes.
    • ADDEDAdded a Credits reading for plans billed on usage credits, including enterprise accounts, which report no rate-limit windows at all. These previously failed with "Claude returned no usage windows".
    • ADDEDKept the last successful reading visible when a refresh fails, marked with a warning sign, the reason, and the time the reading was taken. Rate limits and transient errors no longer blank the percentage.
    • ADDEDDiscarded the cached reading when an account is disabled, so it cannot reappear on re-enable.
    • ADDEDAdded a visibility preference (On hover, Always, Hidden) in settings, saved with the screen edge. Always keeps the overview open and never collapses on pointer leave; Hidden takes the window off screen and ignores the mouse, with the tray as the way back.
    • ADDEDTray click now opens Settings, and "Show AI Notch" expands the notch.
    • ADDEDTolerated rotated Claude credentials: a UTF-8 byte order mark is stripped, known wrapper shapes are accepted when an access token is present, the missing-file error names the profile folder, and a zero or missing expiresAt is treated as unknown so Anthropic validates the token rather than a local check rejecting it.

  5. v0.2.0 (Windows)

    Pre-release
    Sep 8, 2026
    • IMPROVEDAdded the macOS-style settings interaction: a subtle arc reveals a gear on hover; click to open settings.
    • ADDEDPreserved vertical provider layouts on the left and right edges, with details opening inward.
    • ADDEDReduced margins and resting thickness to 6 logical pixels, and removed square shadows around rounded corners.
    • ADDEDAdded experimental GitHub Copilot quota support, its logo, reset dates, and unlimited-quota display alongside Claude and Codex.
    • ADDEDAdded regression coverage for hover transitions, screen-edge layout, Copilot quota parsing, cancellation, and credential handling.

  6. v0.1.0 (Windows)

    Pre-release
    Sep 7, 2026
    • IMPROVEDInitial Windows portable build of AI Notch.
    • ADDEDIncludes Claude personal/work subscription profiles, Codex usage, a system tray menu, hover expansion, four screen-edge positions, per-account opt-in, and retry controls.
    • ADDEDDownload the x64 ZIP for Intel/AMD PCs or the ARM64 ZIP for ARM PCs. Extract the entire archive and run AI Notch.exe. SHA256SUMS.txt contains checksums for both downloads.
    • ADDEDThese builds are unsigned. The UI preview and five logic/privacy tests passed on macOS; native Windows authentication and desktop behavior still need validation. Cursor, GLM, Antigravity, and live coding activity indicators are not included yet.
    • ADDEDThe repository also includes the native macOS implementation; its 557 tests pass after the platform folder split.
